my intro

so i have been on myspace for a while and though it's amusing and keeps me in touch with anyone i've ever met, i need something else for my thoughts, my poems, my stories and more often than most, my ramblings. i just found this place where, for the moment, i have much more anonimity.

i have recently become a mother... for those of you who are one, you probably know why i need this. i was an english major with a BIG passion for writing (not so much with grammar, though). i think i used to be quite talented at it (and the piano, but that's a whole other issue to tackle) but as time, marriage, work and now parenthood have happened, i've lost almost all desire. i've lost words, ideas, witty phrases and the ability to project feelings and emotions onto paper. i'm hoping to regain some of it. for myself and also for my daughter. i think it would be nice for her to have a mother that has a passion for something other than her (though she is easy to be passionate about). i hope it will encourage her to dream.
